Detritus Rise is an interactive fantasy adventure that explores the world of Myrefall. Every ten years, the people of Myrefall; from the poverty-stricken village of Grimsborne to the regal Eltrys Castle, anticipate a sacred natural event known as The Fall. Their goddess, Axerin, sends a shower of celestial detritus cascading over her creation as a blessing. The event is widely celebrated and a most beloved tradition to the devout.

This year, The Fall does not occur. Widespread fear courses through Axerin’s followers as they desperately search for an answer as to why such an omen has befallen them. 

Cecile Pax is an outcast of the royal family, sent to live in exile following the death of his parents and the instatement of his uncle’s tyrannical rule. He alone must discover the cause of the Fall’s absence, and strike bargains with the goddess to save the realm. The journey at hand is treacherous and the stakes are high.
